Appreciate Whats On The Inside

“Boys think girls are like books, If the cover doesn't catch their eye they won't bother to read what's inside.”
― Marilyn Monroe

My lady Marilyn is the perfect example as to what girls think they should be, and why its an issue in our society. Society determines what beauty is. Society varies according to culture and some say there are nine different forms of culture, some say nine thousand, and others say nine million. Its based on major world religion, small and big communities, and simply the fight within humanity. Beauty is relative. If there can be nine million definitions to beauty, what is beauty exactly?

Going with Monroes words of wisdom, if a guy is looking at a picture of a women with her face covered by a book he's not gonna stop to look. If a women is holding a book at her lap in lingerie with flowing shiny locks and seductive eyes, chances are it caught his attention. Not only his, but women too. Society rewards outer beauty as oppose to whats on the inside. Nobody stopped to look at the title of the book she was reading. The things is, you can take a shower and have natural hair and wash off the makeup, but you will never be able to wash off who you on the inside.

Society has made women worth their youth and beauty when those things eventually expire. This applies to men as well, but men are also widely appreciated for their hope, power, money, and career when those things can be continually benefited upon. Is this fair?

Marilyn Monroe was known to be the ultimate sex symbol and put on a show to achieve that expectation. But nobody cared that she was depressed, unhappy, or even wondered what she had to offer other than her beauty. Underneath her act of Marilyn Monroe she was Norma Jean. If you look up Norma Jean on the Internet wikipedia tells you its the name of the given actress and refers to you Marilyn Monroe's wiki page. Goes to show how much society honored who she really was as a person and the countless other women on this planet.

Beauty is found in the spirit so focus on who you are on the inside and stop worrying about how you look. Do what makes you happy, confident, and puts a smile on your face. In the end you want to be proud of who you are.

A Picture Without Words

Girl:[gurl]
  1.  An extremely impressive creature that has an ability to empathize and love from a very young age.

Tactic: [tak-tik]
 1. a plan, procedure, or expedient for promoting a desired end or result.

The question of a life time, Whats your desired end result as a women?
Im still in my girl phases, riding the roller coaster of life to eventually get off, and when I do, I want to be proud of the women I become. Im not quite sure what my tactic in life is quite yet. Still trying to figure it out, and so are the people who look like they have everything already figured out. This blog will follow my life, and my ever evolving lifestyle, focusing on everything and nothing.

What it means to be a girl is complicated, not even girls can fully understand what it means to be a girl. You can not simply state what it means, but you can follow a girl and create a big picture without words. Heres the big picture. Love it.
